If you are not satisfied with our handling of your complaint, you may be entitled to ask the Legal Ombudsman to consider the complaint. Normally you will need to bring a complaint to the Legal Ombudsman within 6 months of receiving a final written response from us about your complaint. Please note that the Legal Ombudsman took over the Legal Complaints Service in respect of complaints made from 6th October 2010.
In addition, you do have the right to object to any bill we raise, and to apply for assessment of it under Part III of the Solicitors Act 1974. However, please note that the Legal Ombudsman may not consider about a bill if you have already applied to the Court for the assessment of the bill.
